GLOSSARY
- Rank: Ordering based on expected score (see below). A rank of -- indicates a tie with the next player up.
- Best case: A player's highest possible score.
- Worst case: A player's lowest possible score.
- Expected score: The average of the best-case and worst-case scores. Players are ranked by this score to more accurately measure who has a better chance of winning.
- Spread: The difference between the best-case and worst-case scores.
- Aggregate: A false entry created by calculating the total number of CPs for each finalist divided by the total number of entries.
- Snake Eyes: The illegitimate child of Mr. Coin and Lady Luck. J This is a completely random entry created by rolling dice. At the entry deadline, I rolled a 12-sided die to select one of the finalists, and four- and ten-sided dice to determine the Certainty Points for that singer. This process was repeated until all 100 CPs are used. Make sure you finish ahead of Snake Eyes to prove your predicting skills are better than a roll of the dice!
